The Architecture Today awards programme somewhat uniquely, tackles not only the fundamental issues of exceptional architectural quality and detail but also examines how our buildings have performed over time, the litmus test surely of how we all make our contributions to the built environment.
The high-profile judging panel for the AT Awards comprises knowledge and expertise from across the architecture, engineering, environmental services, development, media and government.
Each team entering their project for an award, makes its pitch, demonstrating how the building concerned has delivered on environmental, functional, community and cultural ambitions whilst also exploring such issues as adaptability, longevity, building performance and post-occupancy evaluation.
Keith, working alongside so many distinguished people in world of architecture and the built environment such as Sunand Prasad, Paul Monaghan, Catherine Burd, Cindy Walters, Jonathan Falkingham, Melissa Dowler, Roger Madelin, Selina Mason, Lee Mallett and many more ensures focussed and sometimes controversial discussion, yet the conclusions invariably result in a clear consensus decision on each project reviewed and awarded, all under the baton of Isabel Allen.
Judging commences 16 July with the results announced in the autumn.
