We are delighted to announce that the DeValera & Súil Art Gallery for our clients Clare County Council, has won the prestigious American Institute of Architects Continental Europe Design Award : Design for Social Impact.

The American Institute of Architects Continental Europe Design Awards (AIACE DA) recognise the outstanding work of architects and related professionals and celebrates the achievements that embody the values of the AIA Framework of Design Excellence.
The Design for Social Impact Award is given for projects which demonstrate merits in promoting equitable communities and social integration, and positively impact the current and future occupants as well as the larger community.
We are particularly pleased to have won this award which demonstrates that the project which has now received over 200,000 visitors in its first year has been able to place exceptional contemporary civic architecture at the heart of the community which is serves.
The DeValera Library & Súil Art Gallery received one of only two AIA CE awards made this year the other being for the University of Chicago John W. Boyer Center in Paris, France, by Studio Gang.
