Keith has recently been appointed as an external examiner to Kent School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Kent, Canterbury.
The school is led by Head of School Professor Gerry Adler with Deputy Head, Dr Marialena Nikolopoulou, with BA Arch Programme Director Dr Manolo Guerci and Professor Gordana Fontana-Giusti amongst other colleagues. At the recently announced REF results, the architecture school was ranked 6th in the country (together with the Bartlett) for research excellence.
Keith will take up the role from this June, succeeding Dr Juliette Davis (Cardiff), who recently concluded her mandate. He will be working with fellow externals Justine Langford (Kingston School of Art) and Dr Rosa Urbano-Guitirez (School of Architecture at the University of Liverpool).
The School states…”Kent School of Architecture and Planning is one of the most successful schools of architecture in the UK. Innovative programmes, studio-based teaching, professional links and excellent facilities combine to create an inspirational learning environment.”
Following his appointment, Keith commented…” I am very pleased to be involved with the University of Kent and the School of the Architecture, with its excellent reputation for the quality of its teaching programmes and for the high achievement of its students. Canterbury and the school are very well known to me from my work designing and building the city’s Marlowe Theatre.
